By accessing or using ReCognizeMe? ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Game.

2. Description of Service

ReCognizeMe? is a celebrity face recognition trivia game. Players are presented with photographs of celebrities and challenged to identify them. The Game includes features such as daily challenges, leaderboards, statistics tracking, and hints.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems or bots to play the Game
• Attempt to manipulate scores or leaderboard rankings
• Interfere with or disrupt the Game or its servers
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The ReCognizeMe? name, logo, game design, gameplay mechanics, subject categorization system, curated photo collections, and all related intellectual property are owned by Bruce Chrumka / Amber Telecom Solutions and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Our curated database of over 5,000 subjects, including the selection, organization, and categorization of photographs, represents significant creative and editorial effort and is protected as a compilation under copyright law.

Photos used in the Game are from public-domain sources such as Wikimedia Commons and are used for educational and entertainment purposes.

6. Content & Images Disclaimer

ReCognizeMe? does not claim ownership of the photographs displayed in the Game. All images are believed to be in the public domain or used under fair use principles for educational and entertainment purposes. Copyrights and rights of publicity for all photographs remain with their respective owners.

If you are a copyright holder or authorized representative and believe that any content displayed in ReCognizeMe? infringes your rights, please contact us immediately and we will promptly remove the content in question.

Content Removal Requests: Send an email to legal@recognizeme.org with the subject line "Content Removal Request" and include: (1) identification of the content, (2) your contact information, and (3) a statement of your rights to the content. We aim to respond to all removal requests within 48 hours.

7. User Content

If you create an account and choose a display name, you are responsible for ensuring that your chosen name does not infringe on anyone's rights, is not offensive, and does not violate any laws. We reserve the right to remove or change inappropriate display names.

8. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data, including game progress or statistics.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReCognizeMe? shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Game.

10. Advertising

The Game may display advertisements from third-party ad networks. By using the Game, you consent to the display of such advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Game at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
